How the Unicus Olympiads Exam Works
Unicus Olympiads are conducted online only, which means students can take the test from home using a laptop or desktop with an internet connection and webcam.
Each exam is designed with a marking scheme based on the student’s previous class learning, giving more weightage to the most recent class and some questions from the class before that. This makes the tests a great way to reinforce what students have just learned.
Additionally, the platform includes mock tests and sample papers to help students practice and gain confidence before the final exam.
How to Register for Unicus Olympiads
The process is designed to be simple and accessible, so every student has a chance to participate. Students can register for Unicus Olympiads in one of two ways:
- Through School: Schools registered with Unicus receive the Olympiad prospectus and registration forms to submit on behalf of students.
- As an Individual: If a school isn’t registered, students can sign up individually through the online registration portal.
Unicus Olympiads: Awards and Recognition
These carefully tiered awards keep students motivated and help them feel proud of their progress, not just their rank. Unicus Olympiads celebrate student achievement at multiple levels:
- The top 3 overall students in each subject (Grades 2–11) receive a Scholar’s Trophy and Certificate of Excellence.
- Top performers in large school groups receive Gold Medals and certificates.
- Top 10% of participants receive Gold Medals and Certificates of Excellence.
- Students in the top 25% receive Certificates of Excellence, while those in the 25–50% range receive appreciation certificates.
- All other participants receive Certificates of Participation — recognition that every effort matters.
