Understanding the Southeast Asian Mathematical Olympiad

The Southeast Asian Mathematical Olympiad (SEAMO) is one of the most respected international math competitions for school students. It began in Singapore and now welcomes participants from across the globe. Students from Classes 1 to 12 can take part in the SEAMO Olympiad.

Each year, over 20,000 students from more than 22 countries appear for this exam. SEAMO is designed for both primary and secondary school students. The exam is held online and is conducted in two levels, SEAMO and SEAMO X.

The goal of SEAMO is to identify and encourage young mathematical talent worldwide. Since the exam has no elimination process, every student gets the chance to participate and gain experience in competitive mathematics without the pressure of rejection. This opens doors to greater learning and future academic opportunities.

Benefits of Our Online Classes

  • Develops logical reasoning and analytical thinking

  • Builds mathematical confidence and problem-solving skills

  • Provides international competition exposure

  • Enhances time management abilities under pressure

  • Creates a strong foundation for advanced mathematics
