What is TIMO 2025?

Thailand International Mathematical Olympiad (TIMO) is a global math competition organised by the Olympiad Champion Education Center (OCEC) and the Thailand Mathematics Society. TIMO 2025 is open to students from Kindergarten to Grade 12 and will be held online, making it accessible worldwide.

Students from over 14 countries are expected to participate. The contest aims to promote interest in mathematics and enhance students' logical thinking and problem-solving abilities. TIMO offers unique performance feedback, helping students assess their global standing and skill level.

How to Participate in TIMO 2025?

The TIMO competition consists of two rounds:

TIMO 2025 Heat Round

• Register based on current school grade (KG to Grade 12) starting from May 2025.
• Exam fee: RM 90 per student.
• Instant receipt provided via email with FPX Reference No.
• Group payment accepted using a shared FPX number.
• Registration form link: Coming soon (TBC)

TIMO 2025 Final Round

• Eligible students will receive invitations via their schools or can self-nominate.

TIMO 2025 Syllabus

• The syllabus is designed for students from KG to Grade 12.
• Topics include: Logical Thinking, Arithmetic, Algebra, Geometry, Number Theory, and Combinatorics.

TIMO 2025 Exam Pattern

Heat Round: 25 questions, 4 marks each, 100 total marks, 90 minutes.

• Logical thinking - 5 Questions
• Arithmetic / Algebra - 5 Questions
• Number Theory - 5 Questions
• Geometry - 5 Questions
• Combinatorics - 5 Questions

Mock Exam: 30 questions, 5 marks each, 150 total marks, 90 minutes.

• Arithmetic / Algebra - 6 Questions
• Number Theory - 6 Questions
• Geometry - 6 Questions
• Combinatorics - 6 Questions

Final Round: 30 questions, 5 marks each, 150 total marks, 90 minutes.

The exam is conducted in English and regional language..

TIMO 2025 Exam Fee

• INR 1800 per participant.
• Includes downloadable access to some past papers and answer keys.
• Login credentials and exam details will be emailed a week before the exam.

TIMO 2025 Exam Dates

• Heat Round: Tentatively in September 2025.
• Final Round: Expected in March/April 2026.
