About Humming Bird Mathematics Olympiad (HMO)
Humming Bird Mathematics Olympiad (HMO), one of the most popular Math Olympiad, conducted by Humming Bird Education (P) Ltd, is based on syllabus in CBSE/ICSE and the State Boards. HMO recommends the competition for each and every school going student who is studying Mathematics as their subject in the school. The HMO examination is entirely based on Mathematics, which provides a big opportunity to the students not only to test their skills but also to sharp them according to international standard. FCES suggests the competition for each and every school going student who is studying Maths as their subject at the school. We can guarantee that these exams will increase the problem solving skill of the students to a new high.
Syllabus and Marking Scheme
The medium of paper is English only. The examination is for all classes from 1st to 12th with the following details.
Class 1 to 12:
40 question - Subject based
20 questions - Intelligence based
Time: 50 Minutes
The centre for examination will be the school itself.
Level 2 examination will be conducted on 15th February, 2019. List of qualifying candidates will be sent to the respective schools.
Schedule for 2018-2019 examination
The exam will be held on 16th November or on 4th December.
