What is HKIMO 2025?

HKIMO 2025 is a prestigious international mathematics competition open to students from Kindergarten to Grade 12. The exam is conducted entirely in online mode and is held in two stages the HKIMO Heat Round and the HKIMO Final Round.

How to Participate in HKIMO 2025?

The Hong Kong International Mathematical Olympiad (HKIMO) 2025 invites students from Kindergarten to Grade 12 to participate in this prestigious global mathematics competition. The exam is conducted in two levels - the HKIMO Heat Round and the HKIMO Final Round - both held online.

HKIMO 2025 - Heat Round Registration Process

Step 1: Make the Payment

• Visit the official payment portal: https://www.billplz.com/hkimoheat
• After successful payment, participants will receive an instant receipt via email containing an FPX Reference Number (e.g., FPX 1234F1CDB23E).
• You can register more than one student by increasing the quantity during checkout. Use the same FPX Reference Number when filling out the registration form.

The HKIMO 2025 syllabus is carefully designed to challenge students across various mathematical domains such as Logical Thinking, Arithmetic, Algebra, Number Theory, Geometry and Combinatorics. Exam Pattern

The Hong Kong International Mathematical Olympiad (HKIMO) is structured into two main rounds:

1. HKIMO Heat Round

This initial stage is conducted at the country level to identify mathematical talents who can qualify for the Final Round.

2. HKIMO Final Round

Qualified participants from the Heat Round compete in this international-level final round.

Question Structure and Duration

• Heat Round: 25 short questions (5 from each topic). Duration: 1.5 hours.
• Final Round: 30 short questions (6 from each topic). Duration: 2 hours.

The competition is open to students from Senior Kindergarten (Sr. KG) to Grade 12, based on the academic year 202425.

Exam Fee

The Fee for HKIMO exam is INR 1800 per participant (student).

Fees include: Access to some past papers and answer keys as downloadable soft copies.

Online exam login credentials, schedule and exam instructions will be provided by email after registrations close one week before the exam.

Exam Dates

HKIMO Heat Round: 24th-25th May 2025

HKIMO Final Round: Usually after June ends, once the Heat Round results are announced.
